Add a Kansas Broadband Internet email account to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

You need to set up your email account manually, make sure that you know the email and password for your account. If you don’t know them, contact technical support to verify. Then follow these steps:

Go to Settings.

 

Tap Passwords & Accounts.

Step 1

Tap Other.

Step 3

Enter your name, email address, password, and a description for your account.

Step 5

Make sure the IMAP feature is selected at the top of your screen.

Step 7

Fill out the following Outgoing Mail Server information.

  1. Host Name: mail.ksbroadband.net

  2. Username is your full email address (example@ksbroadband.net).

  3. Enter your password.

Step 9

If it you receive the error “Cannot Connect Using SSL”.

  1. Tap No.  Verify that all previous information was entered correctly.

  2. Once verified, Tap Next.

  3. Mail will try to verify the email settings and finish your account setup again.

Step 11

Your Account has now been added and your email has been successfully set up.

If you are still experiencing issues, please contact technical support for further guidance.

Setup Complete!

Tap Add Account.

Step 2

Tap Add Mail Account.

Step 4

Tap Next.

Step 6

Fill out the following Incoming Mail Server information.

  1. Host Name: mail.ksbroadband.net

  2. Username is your full email address (example@ksbroadband.net).

  3. Enter your password.

Step 8

Tap Next.

 

Mail will try to verify the email settings and finish your account setup.

Step 10

Once setup is successful, you will be taken to the IMAP Mail Screen.

 

Tap Save.
